Items containing liquids, pressurized components, or materials with very low temperature tolerances require individual assessment before treatment. Your FixMold technician will evaluate every item before it goes into the chamber and will clearly identify anything that is not appropriate for the process. We do not treat items where the process could cause damage without your explicit informed consent.
Yes. Chamber treatment of mold-contaminated contents is a documentable, itemized service that can be submitted as part of a property damage insurance claim where contents are covered. We provide a full treatment report with pre and post-treatment photographs, a catalogue of treated items, and documentation of the treatment parameters applied. This package meets the documentation requirements of most residential and commercial property insurers.
Ozone treatment is sometimes used for contents deodorization and surface contamination on non-sensitive items. Ozone is a reactive gas that damages rubber, certain plastics, leather and fabrics with extended exposure, and it does not penetrate into materials to address subsurface mold. The CO2 deep freeze process addresses contamination through temperature rather than chemical reactivity, does not damage the materials being treated when applied correctly, and achieves penetration into the item rather than only surface treatment. For valuable, sensitive or irreplaceable items, the chamber is the appropriate technology. Ozone is not.
Yes. The mobile chamber deploys across our full South Florida service area including Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties. For locations beyond our standard service radius, contact us directly and we will confirm availability and any additional logistics involved.
