Welcome to Fixmold (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, booking services, or allowing our technicians onto your property, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you don’t agree—don’t use the service. Simple math.
1. Services Provided
Fixmold provides professional environmental services including, but not limited to:
Mold Assessments & Mold Remediation
Virtual Mold Assessments (FaceTime Mold Solutions)
Indoor Air Quality Testing
Water Damage Control
HVAC Restoration
Marine Mold Removal
Commercial & Residential Mold Services
Mold Prevention Services
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time.
2. Eligibility to Use Our Services
You must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have legal authority over the property
Provide accurate property information
Not lie about water damage (mold always snitches later)
We reserve the right to refuse service for safety, fraud, or abuse.
3. Estimates, Payments & Pricing
Estimates
All estimates are non-binding until confirmed after full inspection. Mold loves throwing curveballs.
Payments
Payment terms are listed on your invoice or agreement. Late payments may result in:
Service delays
Added fees
Collections (the least fun option)
Price Match & Promotions
Promotions (including discounts and price matching) are subject to verification and can change without notice.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide safe access to the worksite
Follow technician safety instructions
Remove personal valuables
Not obstruct, distract, or supervise like a reality TV director
You are responsible for pre-existing property conditions.
5. Mold Remediation Limitations
You acknowledge that:
Mold may return if moisture issues continue
Hidden mold inside walls, HVAC, or flooring may not be detectable
Fixmold is not responsible for untreated underlying structural issues
We remove mold—we do not control physics.
6. Warranty
If provided, Fixmold warranties apply only to:
The remediated areas
The original scope of work
Warranty is void if:
New water damage occurs
Unauthorized repairs are made
You ignore written prevention instructions
Warranty terms are stated in your service agreement.
7. Virtual Mold Assessment Disclaimer
Virtual assessments:
Rely on the accuracy of your photos/videos
Cannot detect hidden structural mold
Are advisory, not medical or construction guarantees
They’re powerful—but not magic.
8. Health Disclaimer
Fixmold does not provide medical advice. If you believe mold is affecting your health, consult a licensed medical provider.
We handle buildings—not bodies.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled per your confirmation terms. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in service fees.
Technicians don’t teleport (yet).
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
Fixmold is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Fixmold is not responsible for undiscovered hidden mold
Fixmold’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for service
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fixmold against any claims arising from:
Misuse of services
Failure to follow instructions
DIY mold science experiments gone wrong
12. Intellectual Property
All Fixmold content—including branding, videos, text, processes, images, and technology—belongs to Fixmold. No copying. No scraping. No remixing.
13. Service Area
Fixmold proudly serves South Florida. Service availability is based on technician scheduling, travel limits, and safety conditions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes must be handled in Miami-Dade County, Florida courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Fixmold services after updates = automatic acceptance.
