Your presence at the start of the assessment for the Step 1 client intake is valuable because your history of the property provides important diagnostic context. Being present throughout is helpful but not required. For clients who cannot be present, we coordinate access through a property manager or trusted contact and conduct the full assessment with the information you provide in advance.
A mold inspection is the full 12-step assessment process including visual examination, technology-based detection and all measurement steps. Mold testing specifically refers to the laboratory analysis of air and surface samples collected during the inspection. The inspection tells us where mold conditions exist and what the moisture and environmental data shows. The laboratory testing from collected samples confirms species identification and spore concentrations with certified analytical results.
